Deciding the wedding venue is an important factor. It is a dream of every boy and girl that
their wedding venue should be a like a fairyland or like a royal palace. They fantasize
about their dream venue long time before the wedding. Nowadays having a dream venue or
destination for marriage is no longer a dream it is fast becoming a reality. With wedding
planners and complete wedding packages available at various places in India and abroad,
planning a dream venue for the wedding is definitely not the chore it used to be. However,
there are certain things to be looked after while deciding the venue. The most important
thing to be considered while deciding the venue is the budget of the wedding. Depending
on the budget the venue is decided the more the budget the better will be the venue.
During the wedding season there is a lot of rush so it is always better to book your
venue before hand because you will get a better deal for venue, catering, and décor.
Another important thing to consider is if you are planning a wedding abroad, then the
legal issue can crop up. Visas and the marriage license need to be arranged for. All
this requires time to plan, so it is always better to start early. Your wedding venue
should be close to your house because it will be easier for you to commute in that case.
Depending on the guest list you have to decide your venue. For small part a small hall
willed but for big gathering you require a large hall or house.
If you are planning a destination wedding than it should be a small affair with less number
of guests. But you have to bring along the entire 'baraat' to that destination so in that
case is becomes expensive. For example a royal wedding at the Udaipur Lake Palace will be
very expensive with all the family and friend because you have to take the barat there with
your family and friend. Chances are your wedding locale will also extend itself into your
honeymoon destination. So think about where you would like to honeymoon along with where
you wish to be wed. The idea of a destination wedding is to ensure everyone has a great
time, including you. Other than this there are normal wedding halls for which you can opt.
These halls are rented for wedding purposes. After the venue is decided then come the venue
decoration, lighting, and caterer. So to make your wedding a smooth affair it is always
better to plan in advance.
